A labor of love

A cookbook has been the dream since I started Sous Weed® in 2015 and this one is filled with my favorite confections with flavors inspired by my Asian American background. I wrote, designed the book, and shot the photography myself. It was truly a labor of love – The Weed Gummies Cookbook manuscript was delivered the same week I welcomed my son into the world.

The book also serves as an educational resource, offering guidance on childproofing and safety labeling. It encourages readers to shop responsibly and support BIPOC cannabis brands and organizations. In a commitment to social justice, I am donating a portion of the profits from The Weed Gummies Cookbook semiannually to The Last Prisoner Project to aid in criminal justice and drug policy reform.

The critics have spoken

Lo covers it all without wasting any kief: all the ways and whys of infusion; the options for tools and techniques at every level of cooking experience; the cultural and personal context behind these sweets. The Weed Gummies Cookbook is an essential guide to infused sweets at home, as well as a testament to the way this plant creates space for people to more creatively explore their culture and passions.
— Lauren Yoshiko, Cannabis journalist and contributor at Broccoli Mag and Thrillist

Demystifying the process of creating cannabis confections, The Weed Gummies Cookbook will empower you to make your own gummies, caramels, and hard candies. Learn how to estimate THC dosages, infuse sugars and fats, and experiment with unique recipes featuring sophisticated flavors and techniques.
— Elise McDonough, Author of The Official High Times Cookbook
